How to win dart?

I know this is kind of a stupid question but I cant seems to win at dart.
Lets say I have 3 points left... if I hit 3 I get a red 3 and its to my opponent, then it comes back to me andim still at 3. I do 1, then 1 then 1 and the last one is red and its to my opponent and im back at 3.... how do you win this game?

Ok... the last throw has to be a double...
It would have been nice to write it in the how to play.

Ok lets use the 20 slice.
The largest suqare at the top is a double, the le long section is a single, the small square is a tripple the other lager triangle is a single then the middle ring is worth 50 and the bulleyes.
So the last throw needs to be in the small outer ring
