Machines break more after upgrade
I bought the upgrade so the machines would break less and I feel like they're breaking down even MORE than before the upgrade. Can this please be fixed in an upcoming patch? I'm just so tired of having to fix 6-10 machines a day when I wasn't doing that before. Thanks!

I thought this was just me or just my observation bias kicking in after I finished the story and don't have anything else to concentrate on while waiting for achievement bug fixes.

But these games certainly seem to break quite quickly post patch 3. I haven't had 10 in a day, but I regularly get 4-5. Yet even that feels excessive, to me anyway.

I was intrigued by the choice not to have an optional upgrade to "hire" a technician who would fix the broken games--just like we hire the attendant for the hoppers. Maybe, the tech could have appeared as an option during the last "chapter" of the story once the arcade is fully expanded and successful enough to support additional help.

Anyway, I'm hoping they tone down the breakdowns. I know there are 35 machines the game can choose from, and I don't know how the odds are calculated to have one of them break, but it consistently interrupts gameplay during a single day. And right now, it happens at a rate that takes the fun out of fixing machines to keep the arcade pristine.
I was exaggerating just a bit with 10 breakdowns a day, it's definitely at LEAST 4-5 times a day, but I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed this! I think hiring a mechanic to take care of the machines is such a good idea, like the way you can hire someone to collect all the coins so you never have to do it again. I'd definitely pay for that perk. Hopefully the developers see this and can make this happen or just make it more manageable!

100% this should be an upgrade. Also a janitor to remove the trash in the late game or when you've completed the story.

I just recently bought that upgrade and I thought there was zero difference in breakdown rates. In fact, right after buying it I had two machines go down at the same time. I usually had about 5 break down every day before the upgrade and I still have about 5 break down after. I expected a MASSIVE drop. So far that upgrade seems like a waste of time.

The only upgrade that makes any obvious benefit is the assistant to collect money. The larger trash bag is okay, but I stopped collecting trash after a while. Most of the "upgrades" are a gimmick

If you can give me your DXDIAG I'll happily let the developers know of your feedback. We don't want your machines constantly breaking.

No problem! What's the best way to send it to you?

Also I really love this game, this and a couple of really minor glitches are my only real complaints. I appreciate all the work you guys have put into this :)

Pastebin is honestly the easiest way to do it :) If you paste your DXDIAG into it then create a new paste then copy the URL and put it here, that would be amazing. https://pastebin.com/

I notice that you ask for a DXDIAG all the time and was curious what the purpose was.

I mean, what in the DXDIAG could have anything to do with arcade machines breaking down X amount of times?

The DXDIAG is good to have if a person is having issues loading/starting the game or having gfx issues, but not for issues like this.

It gives the developers and QA and idea of the machines being used and can sometimes highlight an issue that needs to be dealt with :)
