Combo in Communists from Mars

How do I trigger the 10 Combo Goal in Communists from mars?
I keep seeming to get a combo much higher than that, but its not popping for me.
The combo is when a missile or UFO hits an explosion one after another right?

Seriously! I actually made it all the way to wave 13 once and never got a 10 hit combo. Something is broken. But it's not required for an achievement, so not a priority.

This appears to still be broken. I can not complete this goal.

Okay this may sound crazy but what if you have to shoot at the nukes and UFOs but when you shoot one bullet that one should hit ten things at the same time not consecutively? What does anyone else think?

i'll agree it's probably someone along that line or even do with all building as the complete one level in line terror challenge was actually - use one line to complete one level.

Update, i believe this is bugged even on consoles (ps5) unless the buildings are needed and / or proper game over is done. I had the shooter base and a building next to it despawn upon machine activation to play and figured I'd test to see if the another missile shot during the combo was resetting the combo or a single shot was enough, both didn't trigger it.
