Getting rid of the laundry

I am about to get ride of the laundry completely. I was thinking it is still earning $500 plus a day when you keep grinding which is good money. Would it not make sense to move it to adjoining building?

Valid question, but you do know from your emails a full-fledged video game arcade is more profitable than a laundromat. The whole purpose of the game is to convert the token-op to a coin-op.

That being said, maybe an expansion to this game occurs where your MC/Dude gets older, wiser, married, and has his own "slacker" kid. You buy a run-down place and turn it into a laundromat (laundromat paradise game, anyone?), and then when your kid becomes what you were, the circle is complete (i.e., you have a full laundromat, with crappy vending machines, and a few arcades in the back), and then the game ends with you offering your kid to manage the place for you. Enter Arcade Paradise 2 with even bigger lots, or expansions, new games from the late 90's and 2000's and so on.

If you like doing laundry, more power to you, but the whole point of the game is to get RID of the laundry, which earns a pittance compared to what you can earn with the arcade. My arcade pulls in 5 figures a day; what would I want with $500? And the time spent earning that measly $500 is far better spent upgrading my arcade and building up popularity than doing laundry. 10 minutes spent playing a game probably earns more than spending an entire day in the laundry. Sorry to burst your bubble. ;-) But seriously, the laundry is an afterthought once you get far enough in this game. My next playthrough, I intend to ditch the laundry almost from the start. I frankly spent way too long continuing the laundry well after I should have dropped it, and that definitely cost me money and time.
