Computer Mouse is Rubbish

Can something be done to the computer mouse in the game? Since the beginning I've had nothing but trouble when trying to select items and I get the Rock on hang sign may be awesome to some but can we get the option to maybe change it to something else?

Main issue I'm having is the mouse not working at all when I click on things. Messy GUI, at the moment it's really difficult to use and rubbish. Loving the game however.

Hey I shall feed this back to the team for you. The best way to scroll through things at the moment is WASD, that makes it not zoom about as much on menu's.

It's confusing until you figure out that the left finger is the pointer.

Yeah an attempt was made but it just makes the computer a nightmare to navigate

Pages jump and scroll on their own in mine, played with settings but didn't help. Same for blueprint screen but worse, takes a couple minutes to get the pointer to stay long enough to click on a spot otherwise it feels like let's game it out is in control lol.

LOL! Cats are amazing...and the worst! :D

But yeah, the in-game mouse pointer doesn't work well at all. I'm using the old-school keyboard method to get around. WASD to navigate Backspace key to go back, Using the mouse wheel is right out the door--it jumps the screen around like crazy (at least for me).

And don't forget the good old "Q" key to leave the terminal and ponder how the stylus works so well to click on the PDA, but the mouse doesn't work that well on the PC.

^^ Feel honored if your cat puts itself between you and your keyboard. All it wants is some attention. Bonus points if it chin rubs, nose rubs, or face rubs against you in an obvious "hey! I'm right here! Give me your attention!"

I so regret pushing my cat away when I'd rather get my game session on than spend time with her. Had to put her down for a UTI, I think. She was the most sweetest, friendliest, people-person Calico I ever met (she wasn't afraid of strangers, she was a true people-person cat). I miss her and one other incredibly sweet Tabby we had, even though now we have new cats with different personalities in the hizzouse.

And, oh, yeah, WASD when trying to navigate the arcade store really works. It's wonky, but it works.

For a possible quick trouble shooting, try changing your input in steam to Xinput in case you are using a controller.

If you're using DS4 Windows, first connect the controller, Then start steam, then start DS4 in that order or you can run into (controller)profile issues ex. PS4/XBOX/keyboard etc.

Also, leave your controller disconnected if you plan on using keyboard.
Due to Steam and some cases DS4 windows, the game gets double inputs from the Keyboard And controller.

Yep only using Keyboard and Mouse for this game, no controller here. I think they adjusted something after I had made this comment and it works better now than back then.

This is STILL a major issue! I hate having to use the in-game computer as broken as it is.
Is the game abandoned by developers already??

Still an issue today. Plus the page you click isn't the page that pops up. So if you click the page for a cabinet, the one above or below it is the one that pops up.

Webpages in the 90s were slow, but what you actually got to the URL you clicked. Plus the X button at the top right actually worked, and so did the Back button.
