First of all, you want to rebind your controls settings if you haven't done this already (or you can just go with the default ones, it's up to you). Then you need to understand that despite this game being a shooter at it's core, you shouldn't rush right in. You probably need to adapt to the movement, visual style and other mechanics, like reloading weapons.
And then comes the exploration. You don't go bhoping around your enemies through the main entrance. It's possible to do, but unless you are extremely good at giving headshots left and right and reading your situation, you won't get far. Instead, find another way in, there are always other routes for you to take. Read the briefing before going to the mission, it can help you a lot.
Stealth is a really good strategy, use silencers and lean around the corners to safely see who is in the room. Be careful with shooting while leaning, since your bullets will go randomly for most of the weapons. Weapons with green laser dots will show you where the bullet will land though. Listen to the footsteps, only you and enemies can produce them. Sound is generally important, you can turn down the volume of the music, but I wouldn't recommend muting it, since it kills the atmosphere.
If you want business advice, then take a look at the stocks and especially look at the companies' names. You can also destroy enemies' bodies (or civilians, doesn't matter) and collect their organs for you to sell.

if you rebind anything you will forever stay bad.
if you read anything outside of the game you are a probally a furry or reptilian furry

if you just play and grind and dedicate your time into the game, there is a chance that you improve.

Or you can follow this advice, might be great for the full experience!
I recommend getting the camo track suit and the high zoom eye implants as your first purchases, as this will make enemies take another half second or so to spot you and give you a high-powered zoom with any weapon and these items can be purchased right away.
Second, get the fishing rod as soon as possible, as it's by far the best money maker in the game.
Take 2kg of datura before every play session
