it irritates me that the extravagant suit gets you spotted
I mean obviously in one sense you're obvious from a mile away - "look, that empty ♥♥♥♥ has the most extravagant suit I've ever seen!" - but in another sense I really think it should function on a level with the stealth / ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suit in terms of stopping people from recognising you as a hostile.

The difference between "That ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is in a weird bio combat suit, they must be here to do crimes, we better stop them" VS "That person of wealth is wearing an extravagant suit, clearly they are here on legitimate business that we shouldn't interrupt if we can help it".

here we are. achievment people who struggle and blame the game.

that suit is one of the most overpowered once... everyone who used it cause its not a funny achievment knew it.
why would it give stealth effect?
it already has an overpowered effect.
first off why a suit in a world where cloth matter nothing about your status. should matter
why nerf the real stealcloth witrh an overpowered one that has also one of the most broken and abusable features already?

just use an achievment manager if they are too hard.

you dont understand the game lore from the intro scene.
YOU DONT MATTER
you missed all context of the whole game
NO ONE MATTERS

a life has no meaning. your cloth have no meaning
these bling bling achievment have no meaning.
you are not special
the game really tries to tell you that early on.
I doubt anybody would put their trust in a dirty augmentoid who found themselves crawling out of the SEC Death Unit, suit or not.

how is being spotted a problem? just shoot them before they shoot you, it's not like they move around or anything

on the contrary, once you put on the suit, their first impression is going to be "look at that financially successful person in an extravagant suit!" instead of "look at that dead eyed augmentoid". Especially as I'm not so much suggesting "put their trust in" but rather "not immediately realise they're up to something that should be stopped by shooting them".

And that only for verisimilitude reasons - in pure gameplay terms without thought of narrative or lore it just makes sense that the challenge suit makes things challenging.

guess who 100%ed before commenting. anyway its ridiculous to assume that cloth which communicates your wealthy status would have no meaning in a hypercapitalist dystopia.

And no, the thing where the suit stops incoming damage from bypassing your death sequence does not make it "overpowered"; it merely makes it "useful for one or more speedrun strats". Oh no, you can complete Trauma Loop a lot faster once you've already hunted down the Limit Chancellor and thus basically beaten it the slow way anyway, OP plz nerf.

You're misunderstanding their motive. They simply want to wear the suit themselves but your flesh needs to be removed first.

The only level slightly anoying to deal with that is Trauma Loop, but that's just trauma in general.

u wot m8? The suit lets you skip like 90% of Trauma Loop, it's the one place where it's an outright powerup.

eh, maybe you are thinking about the cortex minifier? since you can use it along the biojetpack to just fly to the end trigger? the suit doesn't allow this because it is a chest piece. You can still use right path and skip some of the level with it I guess. But it's far from 90% unless you are using some strat I don't know about.

the suit lets you live past the death plane on trauma loop so u can just grappendix over the orb and win instantly (skipping 90 percent of the level)

ah ok, that works too. I thought grappendix triggered insta death like the gravity inversor.
