Look this game is vague enough I would just really like a straight answer, i cant find anything about this online. So far I havent really been penalized for killing NPCs is this one bad? Do i need to reset my game?

Yeah, it doesn't affect the gameplay. Atleast, not to our knowledge yet.

But the unique NPCs were the only ones who cared for you in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up world.

Yeah don't worry too much. In the game, they're basically your friends.

Penalties for them dying though, I'm not sure if the game has penalties of any kind that we know of, or it'll be updated in the future to give penalties.

the sky is grey and foggy, he's no longer there and there's a short thing on his table and the music is different. how do I unkill him

Don't go into HQ while cursed, it kills all your friends permamently. There has to be a way to edit the game files. How was I supposed to know that would happen.

I went against nature and performed unholy rites and brought them back from the black abyss of death . You got to find the save game data stored in app data roaming and open up the files in notepad
