Virtua Fighter 5 is one of the greatest fighting games ever devised. I spent many many happy hours back in the day, trying to master Aoi's beautiful counterattacking style.

So to see yet another riveting entry in the Yakuza series featuring this masterpiece of 3D brawling as a minigame is both pleasantly surprising and awesome.

Kiryu and Aoi mat not share any screen time together, but I'm still rating this game as a must buy. Why you're not immediately clicking add to shopping cart right now is a mystery to me.

A very good game with some very good writing and good characters. Combat is not as good as kiwami 2, but overall a very solid game. Plot was very good, if not convoluted at times (at this point I'm expecting as much from any of the yakuza games).

I got into playing the Yakuza series after becoming a fan of "Like a Dragon" Although they have similar humor and art styles, they are very different games. If you are like me and jumped in late expecting more Like a Dragon, you won't be thrilled. They are still worth playing and will make you laugh. Just expect a much more button mashing style of a game...

They made a lot of improvements here compared to the older games. Unfortunately, the controls are still wonky.
