FPS drops with a PS5 controller plugged in
Since yesterday, having my controller plugged in has completely tanked the game's framerate. Usually, the game runs at 60, but with the controller plugged in, the framerate drops down to 10 FPS. I have no idea what causes it. DS4Windows works as a workaround, but it also messes with the camera sensitivity drastically. Any ideas?

Enabling steam input didn't work for me. I just use ds4windows but 1.75ms input lag is unbearable

I knew there was something that needed to be changed. I loaded up the game pass version and it ran smoothly compared to the steam version. I have PS5 controller connected and just changed it to steam I put and no more game stutter. Thanks my dude
Didn't work for me.

An alternative solution is: Closing the game -> Turn off DS5 -> Open the game (Steam Input Enabled) -> Connect the game once you reach the main menu.

The same thing happened to me when use ps5 controller. The solution in my case was to \right-click on the game\properties\controller\then set override for GAMENAME to use default settings and use dualsenseX everything work perfectly

Having the same problem, DS5 wired. What I do is unplug the controller, start the game, as soon as I am in "press any button" menu, I plug it back in - then wait for the light on controller to stabilize.

Pain in the ass, but works.
