Nvidia GTX 960 - Driver versions 441.22
I tried to reinstall drivers, directx, run game as administrator - nothing helped. Also, I wrote to official Sega support, maybe they can help. Until that moment, seems like we can only wait =\
funny that there's a few people with win7 who can run game. I wonder, what's the reason
P.S. sry, that I couldn't help ya =((
So I've found a (temporary) fix here. I'm not sure if the game itself runs (as I don't want to play the intro it's quite long and I'm busy) but I can finally load up the menu and the game actually launches. The fix: get the latest (and I mean latest) version of wbemcomn.dll (from any trusted DLL website), take ownership of wbemcomn.dll in system32 folder (google how to do this) and then rename the existing one (to backup, just in case) and replace the wbemcomn.dll file.
As I said, I've not actually started the game yet but I can launch and get into the menu with no problems, I'll update in about 10-12 hours whether it actually works. Meanwhile if it works for someone else please do make a separate post with instructions from here.
UPD: also question: did you download dll file for win7 or for win10?
https://ru.dll-files.com/download/e438e79f63063ec73a6fd3787048dfcf/wbemcomn.dll.html?c=eGdjSEJrQks3bmI5anUxZE0zWDhJQT09
I used this (the first link with x64) dll, with this and with open access (right click on windows32 folder and let it open, then change settings over wbemcomn.dll, make it open access too (properties/security). Once you are done, rename it (wbemcomn_old.dll for example). Then just carry over the downloadable dll from the link above and start yakuza6!:)
UPD: it worked for me, guys! so, little insruction:
REMEMBER, THAT YOU DO EVERYTHING ON YOUR OWN. this is what worked for me exactly, and I knew, what I'm doin
So, you download file wbemcomn.dll version 10 or latest (link from Hunter is pretty damn okay and contains no viruses), then you go to this one folder:
c:\Windows\System32\
IMPORTANT: rename your current file wbemcomn.dll so you can rollback to it in case if something will be wrong. Someone says that you need some permissions for it, but for me everything was pretty easy - I use admin account and Total Commander as a file manager.
Then you copy downloaded library to this folder. Then you should make it's owner to system one. Here's instruction for it:
https://www.windowscentral.com/how-restore-trustedinstaller-owner-system-files-windows-10
(it works on win7 the same way)
You need to return original system owner by string "NT Service\TrustedInstaller" in options.
Then just run your Yakuza 6 and everything working okay.
Also, other games seems okay too - I tested Kiwami 2, old Yakuza and Hades
Hope it helps y'all too!
hope, everyone else with same problems will find this solution =))
отличная работа, братан =))
