Baseball Minigame (Batting Cage) Bug and Solution

Hello everyone.

From the begging of the game I was having problems with baseball. For some reason, hitting homeruns or ever getting a decent score was nearly impossible. I could barely pass the "easy" challenges after 15 minutes of trying.

Eventually, I found myself trying to beat the "Step up to the plate" batting cage substory. It was literally impossible to hit a homerun, let alone 5 in a row. For most trajectories, the ball never seemed to go anywhere near my bat.

After almost half an hour of very frustrating gameplay, I realized that there had to be something wrong. Digging up posts realted to the baseball minigame, I came across a small thread that gave me the solution.

For some reason, the minigame is COMPLETELY BROKEN at higher resolutions. Switching from 4k to 1080p made the cursor run much faster and tthe homeruns finally started to register. It took me less than a minute to beat the substory.

Anyway, I just wanted to write this post to explain the problem in more detail to hopefully save someone out there from going through the same painful process.
