mine stutters during fights mostly with a slight drop during saves. Its really noticeable in this game for some reason. 7 and K2 work perfectly so I dont know what the problem is

I have one too on windows 10. Its caused by Vsync on my end but turning off Vsync creates screen tearing

Man, that's sad. Is it the Windows 7 problem?
Nah I'm on windows 10. I keep getting event 1000 with exception code 0xc0000005. I haven't found a solution yet and I've been trying for a week now.

God, I'm so frustrated! Not only for that! The agent I contacted is a complete irresponsible person, who closed my request and marked it as "solved" without asking and with my problem far from being solved! Then I created a follow-up, waited a whole day for an answer, then I realized they deleted my follow-up! After that, I created a new follow-up, this time criticizing their services, and the same irresponsible agent replied. Now I'm waiting for an answer...
By any chance, this guy name was a "Dean" ?

I was having terrible frame-pacing issues (stutter), particularly during in-engine cutscenes. RTSS would report a constant 60fps but frame persistence was severely uneven, resulting in visible stutter. Keep in mind that the steps below will not help the game unless you adjust in-game quality settings and resolution to provide 60fps minimum at all times.

First thing you'll need is Afterburner/RTSS to cap the frame-rate at 60fps. You may be able to use a alternative tool, but the in-game frame limiter didn't help to resolve frame-pacing issues for me, even though it did actually cap the frame-rate.

Now you'll want to add a profile for yakuza6.exe via the NV Control Panel (as of Geforce driver v465.89, Y6 does not have a built-in profile). If you have a Gsync monitor, set the profile option for Monitor Technology to "Fixed Refresh" -- a couple of additional settings will change automatically, which is fine. For some reason the Dragon engine on which both Y6 and Y7 run, doesn't play nicely with Gsync on some setups. Gsync or not, you'll want to set Vertical Sync to "On" (unless you don't mind a lot of tearing) and Power Management to "Prefer Maximum".

As a general rule, I also like to "disable fullscreen optimizations" for most games. Open the properties dialog of Yakuza6.exe in the game install folder and select said option on the Compatibility tab.

Now to the in-game graphics settings; set Vertical Sync to "Off" and FPS to "Unlimited".

That's it. Of course YMMV but fingers crossed this works for you as well as it did for me. The game is now silky smooth during both gameplay and cutscenes on my rig. Good luck!

That helped me a lot, thank you!

Thanks man, the RTSS fps cap solved the issue for me! I didn't have to do any additional adjustments regarding gsync on my end, though. It works just fine without disabling it. I honestly thought they messed something up, that can't be fixed by the user, regarding camera-motion and animations during cutscenes when moving from 30 to 60 fps. Glad I was wrong!

Could be...

I'm on Windows 11
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
AMD RX580 4GB
16 GB RAM

And it's a stutter fest.

Any way to report this to SEGA? I love Yakuza, it's shameful to have such garbage port on PC.

I reported that to SEGA a few weeks when the game launched and they told me that everything was fine, and there were no issues...
Better play any Yakuza game with a controller to diminish the issue, because with mouse is very noticeable. Also you can use a frame limiter like RTSS or Nvidia CP framerate limiter.

I use RTSS and I only play with a controller. Cant imagine playing games like Yakuza with a keyboard, must be insane.

Using both the ingame fps limiter and the nvidia cp fps limiter minimized the stuttering for me.
