There wasn't any reviews of this when I bought it so was a stab in the dark. What drew me in was the setting. I love the idea of a world where you can explore portals to other maps as if your some sort of researcher collecting samples. Sounds a lot like the movie Annihilation and maybe a bit the Russian movie Stalker.

What concerns me is that the project doesn't sell and gets abandoned. My hope is that I get enough entertainment out of it that I get my money's worth either way. I have played a bit and like what I see though. The atmosphere is very gloomy and moody. You'll hear some weird sounds out in the wild too. So far, I'm enjoying this and look forward to seeing how this shapes up. Will dive in further and update this review as needed.

Now for the negatives:
1. There is no tutorial.
2. There is no map, which isn't necessarily the end of the world, but when your lost in fog out in some forest it would help.
3. There is some...maybe not stuttering, but the engine definitely drops frames or something here and there. Maybe its loading something, but not sure.
4. This is pretty darkly lit and I don't recall seeing any brightness options. In fact, the screen size was very limited to like two choices and no option to remap controls that I could see. Fortunately, the controls were what I'm used to.

THE LAST 2 UPDATES DID NOTHING FOR THE STARTING FREEZE PROBLEM. IT EVEN INDICATES IN THE TASK MANAGER THAT THE GAME IS "NOT RESPONDING"

game has alot of potential if the lag gets fixed and every time i try to load into the game its freezes. was hoping to run into towns and good loot spots but ran around the map for 30min and did not find anything to loot. Maybe its to early for the game to be released?

Way too early for any kind of in-depth review.

This is an investment, the game is 'playable' at this point but not balanced due to how early on in development it is.

I will say this though for now, I am REALLY digging the atmosphere, can't wait to see how the game progresses.

Dont even bother with buying this game. There was supposed to be a update a few weeks back and never came. This game has gotten no where since released. All the problems are the same and the graphical issues and audio issues are more horrifying then the atmosphere of the game itself. The Concept is good but the developer is poorly executing it. I believe this was just a way to reel in some quick cash with no intention of fixing the issues.
