Most maps seem to be fairly evenly spread, but every once in a while you get a real unlucky one.

Ethnicity: Italian
City: Chicago
Starting business: 20 Stone Crocks and 4 or 6 labels every 2 turns
Knowledge of business types: Brick Wine and Moonshine
In immediate area is 6 buyers of Brick Wine with 4 more further out and 2 buyers of Moonshine with 3 further out. 2 sellers of apples juice and malt close to spawn with 2 sources of grape concentrate not far away. Everything is fairly abundant resourcewise. Area also has plenty of buyers for beer and cider.
