Easy to check who sells weapons?

Hey, kinda new to the game. Skeptical about it but willing to give it a chance with the idea that i've just got an underdeveloped understanding of it.
So my question is: I know there was somebody in town who was willing to sell me weapons under a favor, but i don't remember who it was. Can i trace this back easily, or do i have to drive past every single place again?

Which weapons? Might not be worth it if you have favor or can gain favor with a cop.
Wanna say weapons favors are high level relationship so a look through relationships at the individual places would narrow the search

There was a place which would give me weapons as part of the favor-menu. You're saying this would likely be a high-level relationship person? Is there an overview of that to narrow my search?
I wonder if it's really worth having to drive all over town for a weapon, considering i'm now just 20 corners in and already getting lost with this. I want an easy way to check where i can get what kind of favor (e.g. thankfully i can see which places could offer me a new crew member for example).

Easy answer, at this early stage if it isn't melee or the high tier guns (winchester/thompson)
forget about it, skills are needed. you're wasting shots in a fight if the crew member or you isn't max skilled to guns. Melee is more effective this early

Just so we are on the same page, yes you will need to drive to the places with favor makers to discover what the favor is. No, you don't need to drive around to see relationship status but you do need to click around on the businesses and the info pops up. The red bar next to the pic. Start from your safehouse and work outward.
There are a few things that might assist you. The tabs at the top left, 1st one, highlight the weapons. 3rd tab has the notification history, last 30 days maybe you finished a mission for them?

I feel the tutorial is lacking and overpowering at once, Try this, search, game wrong, a post titled I feel like I must be playing this game wrong will be there. I've already posted a Early game "jog" through. This game is all about the starting location. Bad start, bad game, good start, FUN game

some places will sell knifes or crowbars or bats. A very easy way to get weapons thou is from a favor from one of your fronts. The more crew members you have the better the weapon you can get. This goes the same for cops, if you bribe a cop one of their favors will be a weapon too. I don't believe any stores sell the best weapons thou. You gotta get those by other means...

Yes, I'm asking about those favors! Are they exclusive to fronts, so not any random stores you happen to have good relationships with? That would be a great answer to my question. Thx in advance.

Yeah for weapons, only fronts will give weapons with favors. And bribed cops. Another way to find weapons is also obviously if you kill a hooligan or another gang member and loot their car or their hideout. Normal stores won't give you weapons even if your relationship is high.
