As for not wanting to run through the same thing repeatedly, the store tags do mention that it is a roguelite. The game is designed with the intention that you'll play it through a bunch of times and gradually unlock all the stuff, instead of reaching maximum power within a few hours. :-)
If that's a deal-breaker for you (not everyone likes roguelikes or even roguelites) it may be worth considering detail that sooner rather than later.
Being able to kill mobs in the first round & bosses within the first 2 rounds makes it way more fun than the "grindy & boring" early game where you're only dealing a couple damage per card
Its your game. Cheat a little. Just not too much. Find a sweet spot to make the game more enjoyable for you without making it boring.
