Thank you for the warning.
I just wanted to thank the people who helped bring down "Recent Reviews" scores. Thanks to that, I went to investigate the cause to find out about the Paradox situation. That is a good reason to avoid this game I would otherwise buy. If it wasn't for the rating changes, I wouldn't have noticed it. So I would like to thank you all for the warning and remind you all that it's always important to complain when such a bad move is made by companies, even if you think it will not help.

Just for the future, always check if a game has a third party EULA that you need to accept. That is usually a big hint and does not rely on any reviews.

You wouldn't? But on the store page it is clearly written "Publisher: Paradox Interactive, Paradox Arc".

Thanks indeed! had this thing wishlisted but now it's going off the list.

It wasn't always a paradox game. The devs made a deal with them after the fact :(

Same for me, as a big Slay the Spire fan, I was just now considering purchasing this because it keeps getting recommended and seems similar but that red "Mostly Negative" really stood out and made me reconsider. It's not about Paradox being the publisher, but the new situation with suddenly forcing an intrusive launcher really makes me not want to play this right now.

I find this incredibly hilarious. You have over 1600 hours on POE, which is partialy owned by Tencent, top notch chinese spyware company, but you care about Paradox? Allrighty then.

Thank you all, yeah, I was about to buy this for me and 2 friends. Not only I won't buy now, but I have finally decided I won't buy absolutely anything from Paradox. Goodbye, this was the tiny little drop of water in a cup already full.

I knew this game was in trouble when the Wolf Wars DLC came out and was not properly integrated into the base game. Giant red flag the devs had no idea what they were doing and couldnt be trusted

The drama.
Enjoy

Oh no! Paradox may collect and sell the data you've already given to umpteen other companies just by making a trip to buy groceries. It's almost 2024, welcome to the dystopian advertisement wasteland. Unless you drop off the grid, there's no use in crying. Play a game and enjoy something, it won't hurt you.

You're crying too right now, go by your own words and play a game and enjoy something.

Seriously? Are we playing "No, you are!" game here? I know it is hard to have a dialog when one side 100% against having it, but this is silly. What's next? "Your mom is crying now"?

As friend Bazil said «there's no use in crying» ;)
You all bite your own baits and don't even understand.

Thanks for the points <3

If you wish to keep trolling, please do so, but I recommend learning first what crying means, dictionary can help with that.
