The simplest solution to most of these kinds of problem is not specialized cards that you have to draw in the right turns, though, but simply having an overall synergistic team with lots of well-chosen perks and streamlined, upgraded decks.
Especially the defensive nightmares of some enemies can simply be overwhelmed by enough force and/or mitigation on your side. Imho the "Lizard Boys" are the more annoying part of this fight with their buff/debuff transferring you can not really play around well.
A bless or sharpness build is better for those fights, since they let you build up damage on your characters. Bless is easiest, for self with the super cheap holy smite, or with the bless-all heal-all that cost 5.
Once you have either a sharp or bless build going on at least a character, you'll be able to win most lasting fights.
