So, the cosmos controllers aren't officially supported - BUT you should be able to configure them to work.
Assuming your hands are moving in the game, but you can't grab things, you'll need to create a custom controller binding. To do that:
- Open your SteamVR settings (from either your desktop or in VR) and click Controllers, then "Manage Controller Bindings"
- Select Egression
- Change Active Controller Binding from Default to "Custom"
- Next, click "Edit this binding" which will open another window
- From here it's a little more complicated, but you have to assign actions to buttons on your controllers. There are 3 tabs. "default" you should leave blank. "base" you need to make sure "Grab Grip" and "Teleport" at a minimum are assigned to appropriate buttons as a "button", "click", or "DPAD" input on both controllers. And finally, on the "tablet" tab, you must choose an unused button for "menu" action (again on both controllers ideally).
- Once you've assigned the actions to buttons, click "Save Personal Binding" at the bottom, Name your config, and click Save
- Then start up Egression and see if your controls work. If you get things working, you can set up the other actions as desired (e.g., snap turning)
Check out these screenshots[imgur.com] of the above process.
Another option would be to try to use teleport instead, in case that is easier to get working! Let me know if any of this is helpful (and maybe see you in Discord) - hoping we can resolve this for you.
Edit: Another thing to try. Check out these screenshots[imgur.com] from my original post. Look at screenshot #3 (the one with the arrow pointing at "teleport"). Try clicking the "+" icon next to "Thumb Stick". That should expand out options for "Use as Joystick" below "Use as Dpad". There, you should be able to set "locomotion" for the "Position" option. Again, hoping this helps unstick you, please report back either way!
