Weight will crash down onto the ground and hit anybody it contacts, but also when it lands on the ground it will shake the screen and cause a hard knockdown to anybody who isn't in the air.
Donut will slightly heal whoever picks it up. It's a very small amount of health.
Banana is just like donut. However, after it's been picked up, it will leave behind a banana peel which will cause a hard knockdown to anybody who touches it.
thx alot
another question, the fishing move is my opponent airborne ? or do i drag him to me on the ground and possible through my items ?!
https://glossary.infil.net/
I will speak on moves by their game notation. You can check https://www.dustloop.com/w/GGST/Faust
and cross reference what I mean cause it's just simpler to explain with them.
And Numbers are related to the numpad notation numbers as if you are Player 1.
•Afro• increases their height hitbox, also disables 6P's upper body invincibility, allowing you to more safely throw out specific moves like 5k and F.S which a lot of people kamekaze 6P you when you play Faust otherwise. Keep in mind it's relative to where the head is, characters that put their head lower reflect that extended hitbox also being lower.
Afro has limited 'hits' before it disappears, once ignited by J.D, Bomb, Meteors, it is on a timer instead.
When Faust has Afro, you can do your "Love" in the air to create a afro projectile that is very dominating as it bounces pretty high and the opponent either has to block it and be very negative with a guard crush or jump over it and risk you slapping them out of the air back into it.
•100 Ton Weight• is a LOW hitting item when it lands, you can backdash it or just jump, otherwise it knocks you down when you don't block low or guard crushes.(Guard crush doesn't have throw invuln window. Keep this in mind for Command Grab setups in the future.)
•Banana• and •Donut• Heal who picks it up (You can also eat it if you hold the button when you item throw but it's incidental as you don't know what item you're about to eat until you do).
Banana HOWEVER leaves a banana peel behind when interacted with which will cause the person who isn't blocking it to become airborne for a moment and a quick getup off the ground. NOT A HARD KNOCKDOWN.
•Thrust• which is the 'fishing move' when you do it you have to hold back to pull them in, and depending where you hit the H.S button again you will get varying results.
Too early, lower damage but faster.
Too late, they'll roll across the ground near you and you are somewhat negative with your recovery compared to your opponent.
Just right, MAX damage and if you hit them into the wall it will break it immediately.
With item interactions, you can hit a bomb off the ground with the golfclub with your opponent and get extra damage from the bomb detonation, even a combo extension with a followup 5.K but that's varying depending on the situation.
On when to use item throw, any hard knockdown is safe, full screen and you're aware they can't punish it is good time. You can also item eat to shave off some recovery and store the item by holding the button. This can make you safe in situations you weren't or bait someone into trying to punish you and you counter hit them.
Hammer 'can' cover a item throw but depending on distance the opponent can run under it and hit you.
100 Ton can get you one cheeky item similar to hammer before you need to backdash/jump to avoid the trip/guard crush.
[Item Throw->100 Ton is seen->Second Item Throw, Back Dash] You will backdash the weight's landing, EVERY TIME.
It's generally up to your discretion and you'll get better at it.
Items are there to make your lower tier character, better. Faust would be absolute dogwash without his items and taking advantage of the situations they create as a player not playing Faust usually have less experience dealing with them.
Faust's Crawl is very situational and starting out you're not going to benefit from it immediately starting out, only accidentally when you're holding down back, but it opens many doors for Faust that aren't open to others so keep it in mind as you play.
Eventually you'll be confidently holding down forward towards your opponent to create a window to hit them. Which I believe Dustloop lists what is crawlable.
Only as a combo tool, it is horribly negative on grounded and easy to swat out of the air.
Creative uses of it are outside of a new player's experience. Such as cross up MMM, MMM Loops, Dash-Kara MMM Loops, RC 50/50s after MMMing.
It's only plus when the opponent blocks it while they're airborne.
Not many situations it works passively while holding downback, you have to hold down forward to actively duck under something, Faust low blocking is the same as many characters. Since it requires you to downforward, you need to know what you're looking for to duck under.

Don't sleep on Faust's 5P (It can hit people crouching, goes into 6P or 2P). His normals may be long but their recovery gets you killed.
And generally, just look at what other higher level Fausts are doing when you're lost. (Ignore flashy stuff when starting out.)
ty for the indeepth guide i will look forward in building that new infos in
