How to make the game look good?

I have a PC that can crush the game but for some reason when I watch youtube videos the quality of the models looks much better in their videos than on my screen... what is going on? I have a feeling it has something to do with ambient occlusion or anti aliasing but after experimenting I can't figure it out.

Can some graphics enthusiasts please spend some tension and help me beautify my game!?

The initial settings are buggy, set Effects to the highest setting and it should stop being blurry.
