Who do you main, by the way? You might need to adjust your playstyle.
If you want to learn, look at some guides for your character, watch people better than you play, and try to be productive with the lessons you take away from your losses. Not just the losses as a whole either, but why you lost an interaction, what could you try to win it next time?
If you can maintain a positive mindset and the enthusiasm to learn you will be fine. The average Strive player is anything but some insurmountable obstacle to beat.
if you want to play the game, create a time machine and go back 1 or 2 years back.
Anyway. All zoners in Strive range from mid-tier to ♥♥♥♥-tier (Zato is the worst character of the whole game, for example). It's just not a game built with them in mind, no matter what anyone else says. People who do good with them, do good with any character. Period.
Plus the user above is right. Both Dizzy and Bedman ain't beginner friendly.
-If you're REALLY new, then play Giovanna, Baiken, Bridget, Anji or Sin, for a better online experience, overall. Perhaps Ramlethal or Nagoriyuki. MAYBE Faust.
-Millia and Chippy are pretty straight-forward and don't require anything fancy but their low health means you probably won't be able to do ♥♥♥♥ with them so it's best to avoid.
-Aba is a solid choice that don't require anything special, as well (plus she lacks the health nerf of those two, up above). She was one of my top picks, back when I wanted to main someone.
-Both Axl and Elphelt are a blast to play and pretty easy, overall, but ain't that good.
-Ky and Sol used to be the go-to characters of the franchise but they just feel too "fair" for this particular game. Ain't worth wasting time with both unless you really like how they play.
-Potemkin and Slayer are great picks if you want to absolutely demolish the competition. May would also fall under this category if not for those crappy charge inputs of hers.
All the others have something that could prove to be a hindrance, if, again, you're a REAL beginner or they just suck (Testament is straight-forward and one of the easiest characters to play with but sucks, for example).
sCrUb QuOtEs CaNdIdATe talk now but just remember to spam the same combos over and over and bully the opponents into the corner. Seriously. Went from floor 4 straight to floor 8 by just doing this kind of ♥♥♥♥. Good luck.
