Controller doesnt work

Does anybody else have a problem with controller detection like any other game detects but not strive. I use custom one, which pc seems to see as xbox360 controller

All you do...

Log into the main menu using "U" on your computer.

When you get to the main menu after loading in scroll down to "Title Screen"

When you get back to the title screen press the start button on the controller you want to use.

It helps if you're in Big Picture mode with controller enabled.

I found out that this happens because Guilty Gear picks up your Keyboard as controller #1 by default and there is NO WAY to change it in game except for the method I listed above.

Controller works fine, just can't re-bind any of the buttons because it thinks it's a keyboard.

Letting others know, I had the same problem with a wireless 360 controller. However, i found after restarting a few times that if i hit the start button during the startup cinematics (Unreal logo), and not touch the keyboard at all, i was able to get the controller to work. Before, It was only allowing keyboard, but i may have hit ESC to skip those cinematics. I did NOT have big picture running.

If nothing seems to work, you can always use something like Xinput to convert all the input into normal keyboard's.

I had this problem once, and just going back to title screen using the keyboard and pressing start (ps4 controller) seems to have solved it for me too.

My ps4 controller connected to my internal bluetooth works, but occasionally I get delayed inputs from time to time and I'm unsure what the cause is. Only seems to happen with Strive too.

Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings > Tick the brand of controller you use.
