if those were ndeed as simple as you claim they are - it wouldnt be such a hot topic of discussion now would it ?
okay once again
just dismissing something irrelevant to the topic at hand

Numpad sucks. If I have to play with the keyboard I always map the directional inputs to the arrow keys.
idk
controler is definetly not broken tho ( Logitech F310 )
strive was already intended to be a more simplified version of the previous entries in the franchise and was even stated to be by the developers.
motion inputs have been in anime fighters for as long i can remember and i get that ''isnt a valid and practical reason'' but you need to understand that they are not the hardest things in the world to learn and are pretty simple motion inputs when you really get down to it.
the numeric annotation system is used to describe motion inputs. what it is, is a list of directions annotated by the numpad on a keyboard that assumes you are always facing in the right direction. you dont even have to use the proper names for the annotations you could literally just say quarter circle or half circle.
you seem to want even more simplified controls that just kind of do all the special moves for you, unfortunately these dont exist in strive so i recommend getting used to doing motion inputs or maybe looking up a few GGST beginner guides to help you get into the game.
if you do not want to or cant do this maybe GGST isnt the game for you, SF6 has modern controls that require 0 motion inputs whatsoever so maybe go check that out instead. if none of this was helpful oh well, i tried i guess.
well sorry to break that bouble - its not enough as an entry point
again no PRACTICAL reason
- next -
he can't because he never defined it.
No practical reason for him means anything he doesn't agree with.
But from what I can tell of the initial post. He wants them to turn Guilty Gear into Fantasy strike equiv game,
That one fighting game that took all the input motions away and completely failed for doing so, dumbing the FG game genre down more extreme then even a NetherRealm Studios developed fighting game.
That's his goal with the thread and if you don't agree your not practical.
If you don't like this game, just go play whatever game you like and get as many people as you can to play that.
