90% of mods for this game are client-side. So long as it is not altering gameplay in any way you should be good to go.

I wish I had good enough wifi to play with my trans squad that came out but alas, my client sided ass gotta exist in silent (can't host no tournies with nudes mods like that chun li smh smh)

People in Strive are not getting banned for literal cheats like using macros for combo inputs, hacks showing the input of opponent and their guard state, hitboxes and other scummy tools like remaining HP of the wall before wallbreak.
So mere innocent skin mods are completely safe.
Unless there will be a fullblown crackdown on cheats.

So for now, at most it should tank the performance of your game.
