Tips against Nago?
Can I get some tips on how I can actually do something against Nago? Whenever I play against one, I know its always gonna be a losing game, no matter what playstyle I utilize. Been trying to learn the match-up, but Nago always wins in the end.

How do I get out of his pressure? I feel like he can spam ♥♥♥♥ for days and still be safe in the end. He always has the option to cancel his blockstring into grab. I know it is possible to 6P it, but it has to be spot on timing. DP goes straight out the window, too slow. Using Fukyo (his dash in, dunno why steam censors it) + 5H is one of the main things I've seen most Nagos do all the time and I just have to hold it until he can start up his pressure again and I'm building RISC gauge.

At mid range, some of his moves with disjointed hitboxes get me all the time (5H, 2H, sometimes beyblade) and I'm just straight up denied any sort of mid-range play or getting in close.

Close-to-mid range is the usual blockstring, including the 6H and 623H + his dash in all the time + grabs in between.

Just asking for tips on how I can improve against Nago. People of the sorts who lurk and spam "git gud" or "learn the matchup", please just don't bother commenting.

Well you said everything, there is not really anything you can do it's sound stupid but, you have to hope that he messes up the blood gauge and blows himself up, or get a lucky read on a command grab.

I play Faust and I can't press any button against nago he beats everything clean, you block a bunch of attacks and you're risc is up, than the next hit will blow you up into heaven. And if you do nothing, he gets a command grab off and can go full crazy mode.

I don't know why people still downplay this character, for me he is right under sol , chip and ram.
I mean without going into depth of a specfic character....

Hes "flexible" at low blood and inflexible "zonerish" at high blood.

In gen you should "protect your feat" but not be so defensive that you let him throw you.

If hes being super passive, while he has good air options its still a good way to "get in" if you are aproaching to get in from the air more so then doing air to grounds....thought thats kinda character specfic to characters like sol who need to "get in".

What character do you play?

Judging by the fact that he mentioned that he had a slow DP, probably either ky or leo.

Just throw a job application at him.

moves that slide in (stun dipper night raid vortex etc.) are very useful for when nago does his 2H. I usually try and bait out the 2H and slide in. for defense, if nago pauses his blockstring he's usually gonna dash forward and either keep swinging or go for a grab. If you notice him stop after the 1st or 2nd slash jump and prepare to punish

You shouldn't let him dash in for free. Unless you got knocked down or he does 236S (clone) into 236K (the dash), his teleport doesn't leave him plus. If you ever see him teleport forward, like 5H into 236K, start mashing your jab to get him off.

One thing I've found really helps is if you FD the 2nd hit of his SSS attack string. If you do that he won't be in range to command grab you afterwards, which is a mixup they go for a lot.

The weird thing with his 2H is that whenever I've done a sliding attack, stun dipper, his 2H somehow hits me even though the disjointed hitbox doesn't reach that low. Idk if its my timing, or just dumb luck on his side.

its because 2H dont look like but its hit box still fairly close to the ground and its all disjointed so if you use your stun dipper too close he bonk you in the head, also you need to remember level 2 and level 3 blood gage from nago makes his 2H thiccer, also try to notice that you will always feel safer when hes at lvl 1, lvl 2 is when he starts getting dangerous and you cant get out as safe as you used to be
