You're better off waiting till October, the official start of season 4 and zoners glory
Hopefully Dizzy doesn't get the baiken treatment since Dizzy is my favorite gg character
Now there are other DLC characters that look like they could be fun but no one really appeals to me enough to get me back in there and I feel like I am betraying my long time main playing anyone else in Guilty Gear game if Faust is available.
But yeah Guilty Gear is a Rushdown heavy game primarily. This has always been something that held Axl back compared to the top tiers cause he just can't do much once they do get in and he can't threaten enough damage to keep them out forever if they are smart about jump blocking and forward teching. Faust had the same problems early on along with losing to good zoning but I think Wild Assault helps him get conversions off his hits these days which helps in that damage and corner carry he lacked on release.
Makes me wonder how dizzy will play this time, I just imagine her getting wrecked in a similar fashion. Could be wrong, who knows. In the games state I just personally don't see it being great for her, or just zoners as a whole. You gotta zone and get reads repeatedly but if they guess right 1-2 times you probably lose. Ram and nago have enough range it might hit the spot you're looking for.
