Can't see other players in a player match

me and my friends have been playing Guilty Gears in basically exclusively Player matches, for some reason, basically everyone sometimes has the problem of only the host being able to see someone, and/or the person not being able to see anyone but the host, they don't show up on the player list, and if the host is in a battle with them they appear to be fighting nothing

If anyone knows what is causing this and how to fix it that'd be really helpful as it's really annoying to not be able to see the people who you want to do a battle with, it's a big roadblock for us.

I imagine it's related to your connection to each other. When it happens to me, it's always the same people who have large ping from me or they are using a subpar connection method (for instance one guy in our group is using wifi from across the house).

When somebody joins who I can't see, I just leave the room and come back. Reloading the room seems to consistently fix it. Yeah, it sucks I end up losing my spot in line. But the game never lets me connect to invisos anyway.

i've found that, you can just have the person whos having issues being seen host the player match room and that works and everyone can see them. idk how this game's player rooms work on like a network/code level, but i feel like it's probably set up in a way where you basiclly HAVE GOT to see the host.

most the time rejoining would work too, but a lot of times (with the same person every-time in our group) it also just dosn't, and in that case we'll just have that person make the player match so they can be seen
