something suddenly being changed because it's going to be more popular or being 'changed for the sake of being changed' is completely and utterly shallow. there's no good reason why anyone should suddenly shift to accept a ridiculous and nonsensical change. it's only being latched onto by specific people because it appeals to a very frenzied, malicious and rabid demographic - people who actually played guilty gear and people who actually like guilty gear think the change, real or not, is stupid, and will ignore it. also, i've yet to see any actual concrete evidence of this being the case anyway. so uh basically prove it
There's a mind-numbing amount of brain cells being killed when you argue about what you can and can't do about an opinion while you're simultaneously insisting a fact isn't "factual" just because you don't like the direction they took the character.
A fact is the truth about events—something that is known or proved to be true—as opposed to your interpretation. You have an opinion, an *interpretation* of the character, and you insist that the ones who created her and her lore are wrong because it doesn't fit what you want.
But you don't stop there: the irony of you saying "prove it" when you've done nothing but pull baseless assumptions out of a hat about *why* they did anything with their characters and their story is incredible. It's like you live rent-free in their heads—but clearly, its their decisions living rent-free in yours.
I can only hope that one day, your parents kick you out of the house, and you have to face reality. This terminal online thing is *not* doing you any favors as a person.
You're the rabid, frenzied one here.

Daisuke himself says so.
Anyway, you thinking something is a bad idea is an opinion. You saying that something is or isn't true is an attempt to state fact.
I've been playing GG since Missing Link. I honestly couldn't care less about Bridget's gender one way or the other. I don't think it's stupid like you claim I do, it just... is. If Bridget says "she" in game, and Daisuke says "she" in interviews, then I say "she" because both the character and word of god says that's how it is.
Also, Aba looks better in Strive than she ever has.
She still has it, but it doesn't drain HP, and is easier to threaten with, plus her normal mode is no longer completely weaksauce.
