It's peer to peer once you're in a match with someone. They're just playing on their moms HP Dell Inspiron 2300 running Windows XP

for whatever reason its becoming even worse with each new patch, then somewhat improves until next update when its breaks again. probably combination of influx of ppl with variable pc quality and netcode witch isnt ideal also

The servers are not dead, there's plenty of people to fight, even at like 4am, but good lord the servers are bad. Im talking constant disconnects, matches taking 30-50 seconds just to begin with all the server communications, you getting stuck next to the desks when something errors out and you just have to stand there for a minute waiting for the connection to time out, and enemies who stutter will make you stutter, its really not good, and as they said above, it gets worse with the patches. A new big major update is out, its kinda workable at that point, and the hotfixes bring it down until the next major patch.

Arcsys netcode has been a joke in the community for a long time but this is my first game from them and its a serious problem.

Buy the game regardless but prepare for headaches.

Expect lag to conveniently happen when you are doing your combos in 45% of your matches online. Too many times I've lost by a hair because the server suddenly has a heart attack.

been trying the game today, the server are literally on Dial up its pretty crazy. LIke they are reaaaallly really bad, and the game online has lots of lag input even on green very good conection.

You're going to see a lot of problems, because a lot of people try to play newer games on older computer configurations. Opponent slower hard drive = you wait longer, opponent slower internet = you wait longer + lag, you get the picture? Console right now might honestly be the best bet for this game because everyone is on the same hardware, I even think wifi on console might be better, but on PC, you're always going to have issues like this, even with rollback.

Suggests, but this is an Unreal Engine 4 game, and this engine is very demanding.
