I know, right? It's why I could never take any of the 'strive killers' seriously. This game will be around for a very, very long time.
Especially if that game is not SF or Tekken.
You can also include the Non-Crossplay lobbies but you won't find anyone in them. Most people don't even know they exist as their buried now in the options menu. Player matches are also a void you only find around 4-12 people there. People don't know the mode exists.
It's very weird. I find it hard to believe 2\3 of the logged on base are actively playing just the SP.
My Main theory is most of the numbers are just internet cafe machines idling the game.
I think this is also true of SF6 and Tekken to a even larger extent.
My man, the numbers are right there on ratingupdate. The game has a HUGE population.
