Toughts on fighhting Bedman? ?
I enjoy the character alot and want others opinion on him because the dustloop page seems fairly empty compared to other characters and seeing others opinions on the matchup would help me alot in learning. (please add the characters you play if you can)

He is pretty bad, clunky and his offense/corner pressure is unsafe and fake af.
On par with potemkin, maybe even worse.
I play Pot.

fighting bedman as a baiken player just feels slow and boring imo
his projectiles are annoying since i want to play close range and his frames kinda suck
he can play corner pressure ranged tho just hes is to reliant on errors

I don't much like fighting against him. The fact that he's visibly not human makes it difficult to read his animations at a glance, and of course Delilah being there to provide visual noise only makes it worse. I know that's a "me" problem, but I imagine I'm not the only one who finds him difficult to fight for that reason. Even still, I do still get wins against him from time to time. His kit itself is fine, I don't mind his timed follow up special move gimmick; my issue is just with his visuals.

I'm just glad he doesn't have deja vu anymore. Xrd Bedman is the only fighting game character that I ever match dodged in my entire life (Jam main).
what i do as may is i wait for him to projectile and then use vertical totsugeki to close the gap if i have to block usually what will happen he'll go into his combo and at some point he'll come at you spinning like a top also looks kind like a wheel with spikes on it...right after that move i can get in a 2Slash and it ♥♥♥♥♥ his combo up every time as he is negative right after that spin move....
i dont use anyone but may but i would assume every character has something like her long poke all u need is a move you can do really fast and has some range on it

Keep at medium range so he can't spam projectiles, then walk through the gaps in his offense. That's all I know about fighting him, really.

Yeah most of bedmans stuff is minus actually, spin is punishable on block by everyone due to its forward momentum, i think needle also is punishable at certain ranges by certain characters. The only non-malfunction special thats plus on block is 236H but it can be inturrupted in blockstring.
Oh spin also has a decently long recovery on whiff at 24f on hit it thankfuly can oki well (altough vulnarable to reversals) and the error is good enough to justify using it with RC outside of combos, being plus AF on block and on hit it can combo in the corner into a fully charged 236H, the error is alot better then the actual special (spin also confirms from basicly anything you can use defensively including 6p, 2p and grabs)
