Slayer commits a double standard.
I love that Slayer is OP, he should always be insanely powerful. However, you let his pile bunker instant wallsplat yet you felt Johnny shouldn't have his mist finer tiers and coins anymore? Thought the lvl3 instant wallsplatting would be too cheap will Strive's wallbreak mechanics? Well, here they showed they are willing to let Slayer have his power but not Johnny. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Instantly sticking to the wall is an overall nerf to the way Pilebunker used to work. It's made up for in the fact that he has no way to get into Pilebunker loops, but if those weren't around it would be an absolute downside. Losing the corner (where Slayer's pressure is at its absolute scariest) in exchange for a boost in meter and damage (something that Slayer already has in spades) is not really an amazing trade. Wallsticks are not the same in Strive as they are in previous games. They don't lead to full combos, they lead to neutral being reset.

They lead to positive bonus with no cost, which can win you games.

But without wall breaks it used to just sky rocket his damage potential, which DEFINITELY wins you games. I'm not joking, a single roman cancel into corner PB loops could easily deal like 70 to 80% damage. Trust me, breaking the wall is actually good because all it does now is to give him some meter and that's about it (which is still good, don't get me wrong)
