ABA needs to be nerfed, in all sincerity.
Every newbie can literally use her moveset to do 4 beats combo and then she uses her key power, and you cant even block her anymore

My friends all call it the Hakumen overhead, because Hakumen's overhead is also 18 frames and is notoriously difficult to react to. For my part, I know how to fight Aba (go in when she isn't installed, stall her out when she is) but I don't think I've ever blocked that overhead. Tbh, between her overhead and her low rekka, I can never tell which move she's using until it's too late.

I don't think she needs nerfs or anything. Just wanted to give my 2 cents.

IMO the most problematic part of her kit is wild assault but thats almost all characters rn so its not even a ABA unique thing

Wouldn't jump blocking solve that completely? Not saying it's the best choice but the most braindead and easy.

Not in this game. There's a sizable window after jumping (I think it's 5 frames) where you can't block and will get hit. Considering Aba will be block stringing into the overhead from some cancelled normal, the window to chicken block may not even be there depending on what she's stringing from. Or she can go into rekka starter instead which is faster (and has the same recovery in her install) and will almost definitely clip your jump attempt.

Besides, if you could chicken block her pressure, it would push you further back by quite a bit. Definitely don't wanna be stuck in the corner against installed Aba.

No because then they're plus so you have to block the mix again

If I'm being honest, ArcSys will probably buff her. People used to whine about how bad she was, but now that they have gotten used to navigating her normal form and when they get meter (which is super easy nowadays), they roll their face on the controller in JR.

Jealous Rage is a no-brainer. If they nerf anything, it will probably be to add more knockback on FD when she is in JR. Her overhead can still hit you even if you FD the whole time. Probably only IBFD can save you or Deflect Shield. There is a slight possibility of them toning down her damage in JR, but I'm very skeptical.

Idk about nerfs, just rebalancing to change optimal play. The way she's design now very much encourages obnoxious playstyles and doesn't make for engaging matches.
