Im using a PS5 controller but it keeps on showing xbox inputs

I've already tried disabling steam input but that makes it so that my controller won't work on ggst. It doesn't just happen on ggst either the same problem also happens to me on other games as well. Is there a way to fix this?

A good chunk of games don't have build in Playstation button prompts. GGST doesn't.
Only way to "fix" that is by usings mods.

Wrong, there are PS buttons in GGST, but since an update last month they don't work with PS5 controllers, only PS4 (I tested it with the PS4 and PS5 modes of the Hori Octa).

Your on PC, PC is D-input and X-input. Not PSX.

PSX controllers on PC are D-input would you rather it show you 1-13 buttons ordered by numbers cause thats what most games do for D-input controllers as that's how they appear for the WIN OS's in the gamepad control panel.

Just turn on HSKD icons for your inputs and learn where those buttons are on your pad, what most people with a fight stick do anyway. You need to know that notation anyway, and its not hard.

I would rather it show me playstation prompts since I know it used to until last year, I've already learnt that notation, I simply prefer seeing the same buttons I see on my pad for comodity.

I'm still having this issue. Why hasn't this been added in a patch yet? Steam should require developers to support playstation buttons. It's ridiculous to not have them.

I know which buttons do what, but this issue is a solved problem. The two most popular controllers are xbox and playstation. Both of those should be supported in games like these, especially if the games already have playstation versions.
