It's a very easy game for beginners, imo. There's a lot to learn but none of it is super difficult compared to more technically challenging games. It also has a big community with a lot of players at many skill levels.

Just remember that 1v1 fighting games are not games where you should be expecting to win. The goal is self-improvement, being able to beat some strong thing you couldn't beat yesterday. You'll lose a lot, but if you're trying to get better, that can be fun too.

I would say yes. I'm terrible at fighting games and even though this is kind of complex, I can wrap my head around it. In general, the moves aren't hard to execute. The tough thing though is that each character kind of plays differently and has some unique mechanics. But that's also a positive for me because it feels like very character is more fun once you figure out how they work.

If you can play with friends over remote play together you can have a great time.

That isn't even an arcsys title and the game is way diff.

No. Game is coming to game pass, so try it there. Game has no content other than online matches. Online works really well but the ranking system is atrocious and the devs refuse to change it even with the whole community begging for it
