His command grab beats other grabs for 2 main reasons
1)it has notably more recovery than most other normal grabs
2)Any characters command grab will always beat 6/4D, if timed right because command grabs have grab invuln. on their startup
Nago's strike/throw is like top 3 inarguably, but his pressure does fall apart fast if you 2p or 2k him as hes dashing forward, as it has deceptively long recovery if not cancelled into something else. If he begins to fukyo back as a response to you mashing, block and prepare for a grab after f.SS or fukyo forward
The way you fight him has to be dynamic, and you have to watch his blood as much as he does, the higher the blood the hornier he is gonna be for a grab, so if you are far apart, he's likely gonna do 2S>5H>Fukyo forward into command grab, otherwise he's likely going to spend blood by fukyoing everywhere and using specials as frametraps
When he's high blood, get in his face but try to stick outside of grab range and bait supers and bursts the best you can, if you see the meter topped off, WAIT UNTIL HE POPS before you do ANYTHING, as the pop animation will hit you and anything with a hurtbox, then you can run up and get a full punish
if he's low blood, he's gonna yolo all over the screen once he has you locked down, jump, super jump or IAD to get over clone or bayblade, and wait for him to cancel those into fukyo or his DP
NEVER backdash unless you're anticipating a grab, most of his normals either catch BDs or can be canceled into something that will hit you during the recovery
NEVER burst after his 5k, and be careful bursting after close slash or 2H, since he can just fukyo back then forward for a full combo
TLDR; Don't respect fukyo, if he teleports towards you, you can respond with 2/5p/k, dont backdash unless ur tryna dodge a grab, and get in his face when he's high blood so he cant zone you, and if he's low blood, punish anything you can, bait AAs like 2H or 5H
(also there's rly only like 3 nagos who even get to top 32 in any tourney)
also his MUS vary heavily, lmk what character u play so hopefully i can give char. specific advice
In the immortal words of Sanford Kelly, "just pick a top tier."
Edit: other than Slash beating Hotashi's butt but that man is a god.
So play Nago... wait, you'd still get wiped. Smasher detected btw, gg is built around every character being broken... they have always been broken... that's guilty gear. If I knew what character you mained I'd have a good laugh about it too.
