How hard is Zato-1 to learn?
What exactly makes him a difficult character to learn? I'm giving Strive another shot and i hope this time i stick a bit more with the game, and this character really interests me, and i'm not afraid of execution, if that's what makes him hard. If that's not the reason why he's hard, then what is?

In short - you'll be playing 2 characters at once. Because Zato has Eddie. So you have to be prepared for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of things you have to look out for

Well, that change things, but i'll try him out anyways. Worst case scenario, i'll drop him and wait for a DLC to hop into this game again. Thanks a lot.

I definitley dont think he is the hardest in the game, but he isnt easy. On a scale from 1 to 10 he is about a 7.5

You have very tiny durability and twice as many normals as everybody else. His difficulty is greatly overexaggerated. It's more like using the stand meter in a Jojo game than 6000 IQ hacking. If Eddie gets hit or runs out, you have to wait a few seconds before you can summon him again, but you can stall to build Eddie back faster with his command throw.

if you gotta ask that question, don't play him

Don't watch one tournament and think he's really good, because he's not, at least not in this game. He was always very viable in +R and Xrd, this one, not much so. It's just that a lot of people who play strive are new to him, and lot of old players don't play this game because it sucks compared to true GG games.

Don't listen to anyone that says Zato is bad at strive. They... have brain damage from dealing with Johnny and Elphelt. Or Zappa and Testament.

If you played League, it would be like picking up ASol. Its very weird but actually quite good.

he's literally the only somewhat complex character in strive that might take you more than 3 hours to master. he also has overhead combos out the ass and basically 3 pressure blockstrings which are pretty infuriating to be on the receiving end

the only somewhat complex in a game that it's mainly braindead
