do people actually hate playing against axl low?

I don't really see alot of people hating on axl low so I made this post just to check if anyone actually does hate playing against axl low :/

Depends on which character I'm using, right now I'm maining Goldlewis and that matchup is hell lmao. Axl negates every GL's approach using just 5P: it stuffs the normal jump, if you superjump over it Axl can do 6K and bop you, running and blocking isn't a consistent answer because the fat ♥♥♥♥ is slow... You have to rely on the Axl player being braindead and making dumb mistakes to approach, so yeah I hate playing against Axl lol.

Anyways, if you main him don't worry about the hate, just play him and laugh at the enormous amount of salt he induces on bad players.

Yup, I'm seeing the same thing with people dodging Chipp and I just switched to him because people wouldn't play me with Axl.

I hated it at the beginning because I underestimated his Moveset
But seeing the way he actually works and what tools he struggles with, I started to respect and somewhat like him

I do , hes a rare very opponent for me thats why its frustrating to deal with him . I will main Happy Chaos and shoot all Axel's from distance , youl see how it feels like .

He is a challenge at times to play against but its usually pretty fun. I like to try to predict what they are gonna do next and do the opposite. It works sometimes.

Axl in an easy matchup for me. His chains are just like Dhalsim's arms: they have a hurtbox, so when he whiffs attacks you can just slap the chain for a counter hit into free combo.

I like the matchup. It's a pain in the ass to get in, but it's an engaging dance between grounded approaches, air approaches, 6Ps, DPs, disjoints, counterpokes, and fake outs. If I'm on autopilot though, then I just end up jumping or ground-dashing. Once you're in, he gets smoked and it's mega satisfying.

As a Chipp main, I do hate Millia more than Axl as she could perform variety of mind game, most of the time I couldnt win against Millia. While Axl could per form long range attacks(including grapple command), you still able to react to it.

So Axl main here. FDing can instantly cancel the recovery of your dash. So Dash>FD whenever you see an attack coming is a good way of slowly getting in. After this his choices are try a crossup (6P him) or get cornered (enjoy your free win). Speaking of 6P, the ends of all of his chains (aside from the fullscreen exploding chain one) have hurtboxes on them, so if you time a 6P right you can hit him out of his attacks (think like fausts scapel thrust). Axl is a character that has more long range options than short range, so getting close to an Axl is death for them, making them typically only 2 mistakes away from eating a combo. Millia, Chipp, and to an extent Gio are his main counters due to how quickly they can run/dash across the screen.

This character should be removed from the game that's how much I hate him.
The worst part is the unbalance of this character, if you counter pick him he can't do anything, if you don't know how to use the characters that counter him you can't win.

since i main Anji it isnt that hard to fight against axl but still he is annoying in good hands
