Help with lore!

Guys, help me out please!
Its been years since I played Guilty Gear X, but back then I didnt followed the story, only played the arcade with friends. Can someone tell me if I need to go back to every GG to understand the lore? Or theres a place I can read? I'm really hyped with this one and wanna give it a go, can someone give me pointers?

The very site for ggst has a webmanga to read, it summarizes quite well the main events from gg until before xrd. But still, it leaves too many chars uncovered. Considering this, lots of chars are not that important for the main plot.

The manga in the official guilty gear site sums up the stories pretty nicely. Of course they miss all the more nuanced details and character specific plot points that doesn't involve Sol and Ky's family.

I'd just recommend Woolie's series on the lore where he's goes through it with some clips. He's currently through Xrd Sign, so he's only got one last game to cover before Strive's story starts
