I have a DIY arcade stick with a cheap-ass generic controller PCB and it works in every fighting game I own, so you should be fine with that stick because it's X-Input and D-Input compatible.

Even if it dosent if it "works" with steam you can likely get it to work with steams controler interface.

I dont own it so I cant say for sure but ~90% sure as long as steam picks it up you can get it working indirectly even if strive dosent pick it up.

I have the carbon, it works in Xrd so I imagine it will probably still work here as well. It also worked in MK11(although I think i had to setup a profile in steam big screen which was obnoxious as hell).

I was going to order a new Obsidian Pearl stick but APPARENTLY the world is suddenly sold out of like..almost all fight sticks. Its a conspiracy.

Qanba is a good reliable brand, the Qanba Carbon was my first stick and it still holds up. I don't use it much anymore just because I have several sticks now but I genuinely would/could still use the Carbon for any fighting game on PC with the use of drivers and other tiny programs you can download that take up virtually no space.

Side note: if you want an affordable stick I do think Qanba is still the right brand, however there are slightly better models for only a little bit more than the Carbon costs. I believe the yellow one they got is called the Qanba "Drone" and it looks like a small step above the Carbon.

Good luck! Happy to see some other arcade stick/fightstick users! Wooo!

I would recommend both the carbon and drone as they are great beginner sticks. I will say thought that the stock lever and buttons feel a little cheap but you could always replace them with Sanwa parts if that is something you are willing to do. I slapped in new parts into my drone but like I said it is all up to you :)

100% agreed, I swapped all my sticks' buttons with Sanwa buttons, they are super affordable and reliable
