Celestial floor XP?

How are people getting to level 1000+? I'm on Celestial and still finding matches are often only giving 100 XP from wins, oddly enough.

That's very odd, Im level 700-something and I often get 25k, 50k and even 100k for the first win in the set.
The following wins are 10k each if I'm not wrong.

No one knows for sure how XP works, but I assume its either RNG or has some kind of order system behind it.

1. RNG
Pretty much speaks for itself, sometimes you get 10K (the usual amount), other times you can get up to 250K XP.

2. Play character order
So this is just a hypothesis, but it could be something connected to how much you've played against certain character/s in a time period. Say for example Faust, you haven't played and won against a Faust in a week. Winning against that Faust might give you lots of XP.

3. Map with correct characters (combination)
This goes the same as #2. I think it could also have something to do on which map you play, which character you play and who you play against. For example, Ky vs Leo on the Illyria castle map (don't remember its name). I happened to win all games against that Leo and got really huge XP (150K - 250K). Other examples could be:
a. Jack'O/Ky vs Sol - Lars Canyon
b. Gio vs Goldlewis - New York Stage
c. Millia vs Zato - Jungle/Underworld stages
d. May vs Chipp - Jellyfish Pirates Stage
e. Nago vs Gio/Sol/I-No/Pot - Observatory Lab Stage (Snow Stage)
f. Chipp vs Anji - Flying Statues Stage

Again, this is just what I've noticed based on what has happened to me so far. No one will really know unless ArcSys decides to explain it thoroughly, but then again, even they might not have a clue how their system works.

10k-250k? I'm seriously only seeing 500 at most on my first win in the set. 100-500... What am I missing here?

Lowest I've gotten from Celestial floor is 10k, 100 - 500 is like xp from park matches lol.

Idunno for me i gained a ton of exp once I became VIP the first time back in July. By then I earned around 10 lvls a win, after I hit lvl 1000 it started to slow down for some reason. Currently lvl 1300 somethin. Did they patch it maybe?

I noticed that if you use quickstart from the main menu it sometimes matches me with floor 10 poeple even though I'm in celestial, and if you win there you get like 100-500 xp.

Are you actually fighting on the Celestial Floor? You still will get the basic 100xp if you keep playing with people on floor 10 and below.

XP needed to level up above lvl 1000 is greatly increased.

I think the higher level your opponent is the more exp you get

I don't know how it works, it seems random. Some people will give me 50,000 xp per win, but then 100 xp for another win vs the same person, but then a big chunk again later. I have no idea what dictates the XP gain.
