How To Do Hammer Fall In a combo as Potemkin?

I got this game 3 days ago and I don't under stand how to do hammer fall without literally crouching and stopping. I have accidentally done it and landed some pretty good combos. I didn't have to stop and crouch to do it.

You can start "charging" a charge move like Hammer Fall during basically any time, ie in the middle of a jump or an attack etc etc, so say you caught someone in a Potemkin Buster, you can start holding back as you do the animation and by the time you recover from the animation you can immediately switch to forward + H to Hammer Fall.

Get it into your muscle memory to start charging back right after you hit the first button of your combo, then you just hit forward HS to execute it.
