Throw is 2f, and only has 3f tech window afterall
As for the Chipp dilemma, that's just a normal Chipp pressure issue, you want to press or jump against his command grab, but if he decides to frametrap you will eat ♥♥♥♥ for attempting it, and that's just how it is.
In general, the most reliable option against throws that will work for all normal and command grab ones is jumping, there are other solutions as well, but jumping is the most universal one.
Throws are a corner stone of defense in guilty gear, and you'd be surprised how many people on floor 10 and celestial don't know how it work.
Pretty much this. If you start falling into a pattern then your opponent will most likely get a read on it & they'll counter it. In some cases throwing is involved. If it is, this is where teching comes in handy because they may likely fall into a pattern themselves so this would be a good time to mix things up & catch them off guard.
