Unable to bind arrow keys since last patch.

I was testing out new keybind layouts today and rebound my move keys. I was previously using arrow keys to move and was able to bind them fine when I got the game. However, now they are completely unbindable. Any keys that were left as arrow keys previously work totally fine but I'm completely unable to bind new keys the the arrow keys. This is incredibly frustrating as my layout pretty much needs the arrow keys to make any sense. Anyone else able to replicate this? Any fixes?

Also, to elaborate, I'm getting the "Cannot be assigned" message when I attempt to assign the arrow keys.

Yeah I am also having that issue, just got the game. I've tried looking for a solution on the internet but there's nothing.

Arrow keys are bound to Controller 2 movements. You have to change those first.

Hi, got the same problem but I can't access the controller 2 to unbind the arrow keys.
"Enter" just makes me return to the previous menu . I've tried changing to 1P&2P, then the key to configure the controller 2 change from "enter" to "0". But then again it doesn't work :/ . Do you have a solution for that by any chance ?

If you have your 0 button bound to any other menu option in 1P you wont be able to open 2P this also goes for having arrow keys on 1P if you already had that as well. Also it's not numpad 0 incase you were trying that.

OK I WAS ABLE TO FIX THIS GODFORSAKEN ISSUE.

There are a few annoying problems to deal with.

So when trying to rebind controls initially the P2 side will say "press the ENTER button to change Button Layout of the other controllers" This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and does not work. If you hit ENTER it will bring you out of the menu. I think this problem stems from the game recognizing the keyboard pause button as one button for both players but that's besides the point.

So what do?

Alright so step 1 is under system settings to change keyboard control type to players 1 & 2. Then don't try to solve it from the menu, actually just enter an offline versus match with yourself, and try to edit the in battle keyboard settings for the P2 side.

Enter and leave the match just to be sure (idk if this is necessary but I don't want to replicate this damn issue.)

Now when you go to edit the MENU or BATTLE player controls, instead of ENTER the game should list O as the button to change layout on the other controller. Get the P2 side off of your precious arrow key, or numpad inputs (use like num/ or something idk). Then you should be able to change the P1 side. Oddly, the changes won't actually go through until you save them.
