My characther level doesn't go up

Hey guys, I just noticed that my character level for Nago doesn't go above 89, every time I win or lose, doesn't matter, I gain some exp on the end match screen, but it doesn't eventually add up, and next match, I go again to a level 89.
Does someone have the same issue?

Maybe you have to be a higher rank in the tower? The higher rank of player I beat the more exp I get

That means you're having scrub wins. You gotta get skilled wins to get character xp

Yeah, I get the exp on win or lose, doesn't matter, it just resets after it. When the next match happens, my exp is reseted to the a base level 89.
It's not that I DON'T get any exp for the match. It's that it doesn't register after it, it resets...
