what load out do you suggest using for insane mode?
I have to recheck, I often can come first in 3 of the maps but cannot do all 4 at the moment due to unlucky
The gameplay is fine, there is many characters and circuits which all are beautiful and very diverse. Unlockables, YAY !
You can't change the game's resolution, though. I usually play on 1080p and it was not that much of a problem on my 15" gaming laptop. I enjoyed my gaming sessions on it.
The game is a blast on Steam Deck, though. The game, it's visuals and gameplay perfectly suit the Deck's controls, screen, feeling, everything.
If you don't already own the three Sonic Racing games on Steam, I'd advise you to pick them instead. But if you are looking for one more nice crossover mario-kart like, it might be a great pick. You could also take a look at Beach Buggy Racing 2, which is made of an equivalent quality in my opinion.
Plus it's only 5 Gb fat, which is a bonus these days.
For 1,71€ yes. I hope.
Not only that some of the challenges are extreme annoing. Good that i get it so cheap.
Yes, it's absolutely worth. Imo it's the more mario kart-ish game on Steam. Nice and varied items, nice customisation, nice and varied tracks, etc.
I know you have Sonic games that many consider more skill based but they really didn't catch my attention.
In regards to other titles such as Garfield, Coffin Dodgers, F1 race stars, Zero Gears, Super indie karts, all star fruit, etc, etc, etc IMO they are on a lower level of fun/quality/tier.
But that's just my opinion.
I enjoyed the Crash Racing on psx a lot along with mario 64 on n64, btw you can play both on steam via:

I really recommend Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2, the only issues I've found are the issues I constantly find -in my region- with ANY other non-f2p steam game and that's the lack of players. But nothing than manually finding players via steam groups, looking for players, etc. So if you read this and get this game probably you'll have to to the same thing, (search for players to add) other than that? Great game to me!
I'm also enjoying Mario Kart8DX on PC (you know how) also got last crash racing but haven't tested it.
It's easy to understand what you meant and I agree, it's definitely better than all those games you mentioned. i've had a lot of fun.
