Going by the screenshots, it seems there's some involuntary stuff going on, is that stuff a significant portion of the events and/or is it avoidable?

Going by dlsite reviews, one of them mentioned having bad routes, but that's about it, most talk how tactical the combat is. 10+ hour game.
