Persona combos are useless !?
I had to switch to easy to beat Alice after 10 game over in a row. Persona games are awful at teaching you how they work, it was the same for Royal. It NEVER explains you what a combo is if you've never heard of that, and barely throws at you a pile of movesets as if it was the last thing you need to know. I was told that I should not waste SP for Fire and Wind attacks on Alice so I tried XXXY on her again, and again, and again: I swear, it does NOTHING. No effect at all.

Easy mode divides the difficulty by a 10 factor, it spams 1More attacks out of nowhere.

Huh? By who exactly?

As for explaining combos, I'm pretty sure there is a tutorials section that gives you a detailed breakdown of every character's combos and unique skills, so I'm not sure what you mean by that, there are plenty of tutorials for things in this and in Royal.

Also, by a "Persona combo", do you mean your free basic attack combos? Of course they are weaker than skills, they are free and spammable. Skills that cost resources hit something like an order of magnitude harder. Basic attacks still hit weaknesses and can get there on breaking shields, but they are far from the best way of doing that. Ann is one of the best for relying on basic attacks though, because she can infuse all her attacks with fire, which does chip away shields effectively, and is your best bet for this fight if you run out of sp.

On that point, when you say you "tried XXXY on her", what character were you on? And if that was the MC, what Persona did you have equipped? The MC's combo skills change based on the Persona you have equipped, it requires some experimentation to see what each Persona does unfortunately, but some of them are pretty useful.

By doing nothing, you mean they do almost no damage or are the characters not doing the movesets? I'm guessing it's the former and that's normal because she's the first major boss encounter and you're using early game persona, so you're essentially whittling down her HP. You need to use skills with the pause menu occasionally to deal actually damage

Yes, these are the "pile of movesets" I was referring to.

I was doing it with Mona, Ann and Joker's wind and fire Personas.
